Rather than hearing a horn in the distance, not knowing if it is your car, boat or RV that has been broken into, your AUTOPAGE™ receiver will alert you only if your property has been violated.
The powerful four watt transmitter will reach a far greater distance than a horn will be heard - about 1/4 - 1/2 mile using an existing antenna and about one mile using one of our dedicated antennas - distances will vary with the environment.

The new generation of vehicle paging systems is the model AP4000EX. Still a powerful four watt transmitter but in a more compact and streamlined package, using digital AM frequency modulation for more stable sensitivity and less interference. The AP4000EX also has a vibrator mode for silent notification of an alarm. The receiver operates on a single AA battery and measures less than 2" x 3 1/4"!
You may attach the AUTOPAGE™ antenna output to your existing automotive antenna or purchase one of the tuned cellular phone type antennas to maximize the transmitters potential.
